These traps have long lasting non toxic glue with water repellent to prevent damage from rain and has proven not to dry out even in hot conditions like in Australia.
Ideally check traps weekly to monitor for the arrival of pests and to establish if the population is increasing or decreasing. Ideally a minimum of 1 trap per 100 square meters is recommended in a greenhouse above the crop, additional traps should be located at typical problem areas such as doors, corners and walls. Outdoors it is recommended to have sampling points on all sides of the crop with some scattered in the middle to detect pest arrivals. Please note Sticky traps will kill pests which land on them but will not control an outbreak as they seldomly attract pests off plants once settled. Sticky traps must be used in conjunction with other products to manage pests. Some beneficial insects will be attracted to the Traps however the total loss is considered negligible.
